I covered breaking news and wrote narrative feature projects. I helped cover the Concerned Student 1950 protests on campus and wrote about the call to remove the Thomas Jefferson statue. At the time of publication, the story was the most-read Missourian article of all time with over 70,000 unique page views.

As a beat writer, I wrote at least one narrative feature a week on top of writing a weekly movie column.
